Karen serves on the Board of the SEA (Social Enterprise Alliance) where she focuses on Development and Public Relations. She hopes to help SEA fulfill its mission of empowering social enterprises to become sustainable and expanding their impact. SEA supports Social Enterprises by building awareness, advocating for change, and providing access to resources.
Originally named The Allyson Company, Karen started her business in the San Francisco Bay Area in the early nineties writing brochures, pamphlets, and business cards. Today, The Allyson group has evolved to help business by offering expert content writing for organizations - websites, blogs, other social media, eBooks, op-eds, and speeches - and specializing in SEOI optimization.
